A Mr. Payroll cashier is responsible for service each one of their Guest (customer) in a courteous and efficient manner. Specific areas of responsibilities include:
A cashier shall follow company procedures in cashing all checks presented following company policy.
UTILITY BILL PAYMENTS;
A cashier will process utility bill payments as arranged through various utilities following company policy.
A cashier will process transfers of cash following company policy.
A cashier will sell money orders following company policy.
A cashier will handle a computer to input sales and provide reports to management on a timely and accurate basis. Cashiers are also responsible for accurate handling of all transactions they perform.
Cashiers will deal with Guests in a positive, courteous manner. They are also responsible for assuring their work area, including the glass, is kept clean and orderly.
The company is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen. Every Team Member is expected to support the company in its civic endeavors, and to, whenever possible, get personally involved in community activities.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to sit up to ten (10) hours daily performing the functions as described above; must be able to lift up to twenty (20) pounds; must be able to climb up step stools; must be able to bend, twist, and reach to perform the functions described above; must be able to work around various odors, dust and mist; must be long-tempered and slow to anger; must be able to remain calm when dealing with customers who may be abusive or threatening; must be able to identify safety hazards and correct them when necessary.
The Mr. Payroll Team Member fulfilling these responsibilities will greatly assist the company in attaining its mission.
